Purpose for Which Personally Identifying Information is Collected and Used

Our Websites are the principal means by which individuals access the Grip-Birkman assessments. The two assessments (Your Leadership Grip and The Birkman Method) are each comprised of questionnaires of approximately 80 and 300 questions, respectively, and a series of reports derived from the responses to these questions. An individual takes the Grip-Birkman assessments on his/her own initiative or at the request of an employer, a prospective employer, educational, religious or not-for-profit organization or other group (a “Sponsoring Organization”). In the case of Your Leadership Grip only, trained Grip-Birkman Coaches can see the specific responses to their own clients’ Your Leadership Grip questionnaires. An individual’s specific responses to The Birkman Method questionnaire are not made available to any Sponsoring Organization.

For research purposes, we may aggregate your responses with the responses of other individuals to develop group norms, conduct validation studies, perform statistical analysis, develop new products and services and otherwise improve our assessments. In these cases, your age, gender and other personal information may be used to create only aggregated results which may be included in reports that are published or otherwise disseminated, and which can in no way be linked to your Personally Identifying Information.
